Drowning

You know, we can’t always win.  And that’s not all bad.  We get to struggle instead.  While we are struggling, we might learn something; something that could change our world forever.  Fall in love or fall out of love; find a friend or lose one; we are better for it.  But, at the time… All we see as we look around are people succeeding; people making it.  Don’t worry though, because they are not.  They’re drowning just like you; just like me.  The thing about drowning though is that once you fight your way back to the surface, you appreciate the air you breathe so much more.  And I say… thank god for that; thank god I’m drowning.
